IN GOD WE TRUST?
In God We Trust. Interesting how we trust. With religion, it is not about proof, but based on faith resulting from of a few ancient texts and alot of preaching. We demand proof in science, yet many still won't trust that science, believing God's miracles can overrun that science. It is possible, but with science certain results are probable, if not definite. We need to shift to trusting the science, for it's the proof we need right now to sustain humanity. Faith will not feed the famined, will not help cure diseases, or help us in a poisoned environment. God is good to have for the soul, but science is what we should trust for the practical matters of living.
Intelligent design. Why do the proponents challenge the legitimacy of evolution, fingerpointing it out as an unproven theory? Isn't God the same---an unproven theory? Can't we have faith then with regards to evolution?

GOD MADE THE EARTH FOR ALL MEN TO SHARE
God made the Earth for all men to share. We are human animals among other organisms in Nature. From the amoeba to the human, all are biologically wired to compete to achieve success. Biologically and historically, in general it is the tyrants who are perceived to gain the most success the fastest. But with such a strategy of greed for a population, this is ultimately it's undoing. Sure it serves well for the short term, and I think that's all anyone really cares about is what they have right NOW. The Roman, Ottoman, and British Empires all fell because of this "going for broke" tendency. America has lost much world dominance since its economic bubble burst in 2007. People really don't care about the future of the Earth because very few believe that they return to it.
The basis for all tyranny, colonization and human repression is the concept of owning a piece of the Earth. Native Americans in North America never had this concept or a word for owning land in their ethos. This was not even a consideration. The Earth belonged to itself and people lived upon it in harmony and respect for the sustenance the Earth provided.
